Senior Principal Scientist, Precision Medicine Neuroscience

AbbVie seeks a Senior Principal Scientist to lead precision medicine strategy for neuroscience clinical programs. The role involves overseeing biomarker data generation, directing cross-functional teams, and ensuring regulatory compliance throughout product development.

Responsibilities

Design and implement precision medicine strategy aligned with Product Development Plan and regulatory requirements
Lead cross-functional teams to develop and execute biomarker strategy from discovery through clinical translation
Oversee precision medicine strategy execution, monitor timelines and budgets, communicate data to stakeholders
Contribute to protocol design, analysis, and regulatory submissions including Clinical Study Reports
Ensure adherence to Good Clinical Practices, pharmacovigilance standards, and quality requirements

Requirements

PhD in science or related field with 10+ years relevant experience
Clinical trial experience in pharmaceutical industry or academia
Knowledge of clinical trial methodology and regulatory requirements
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop precision medicine strategy
Strong cross-functional collaboration and external communication skills
Background in migraine, pain, or obesity preferred
