Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, align, and test shipboard machinery and equipment
• Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems including pumps, valves, and engines
• Use precision measuring tools to ensure proper fit and alignment
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and work orders
• Collaborate with other trades to meet project timelines and quality standards

Requirements:

• Prior experience as an Outside Machinist in ship repair or equivalent military experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools
• Ability to work in confined spaces and onboard vessels
