\n \nThe United States Army Healthcare team is seeking qualified Critical Care Registered Nurses to serve as commissioned officers in the Army Nurse Corps.

\n \nApplicants who are selected are eligible for a 100k sign-on bonus should the elect to serve a four-year contract.
\n \nPosition Overview
\n \nAs an Army Critical Care Nurse, you will provide specialized nursing care to critically ill and injured patients as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army Nurse Corps.
\n \nYou will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, in multidisciplinary clinical environments, applying your critical thinking, clinical judgement, and advanced nursing skills to support patient care.

- Active-duty (full-time) assignments are based on Army requirements and will more than likely involve relocation to a military medical facility at an Army installation throughout the United States or at one of our allied bases. Assignment locations are not guaranteed. \n
Key Responsibilities
\n \n- \n
- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill and injured patients in intensive care settings. \n
- Assess, monitor, and manage patients with complex medical and surgical conditions. \n
- Administer medications, intravenous therapies, and other prescribed treatments. \n
- Monitor and manage patients requiring mechanical ventilation, invasive hemodynamic monitoring, and advanced life-support interventions. \n
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans. \n
- Respond to rapidly changing patient conditions and medical emergencies \n
- Apply evidence-based nursing practices to promote patient safety and quality of care. \n
- Participate in clinical education, professional development, and military leadership training. \n

\n \nMinimum Qualifications
\n \n- \n
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program in the United States \n
- Current, valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) License in one of the 50 states \n
- Minimum one-year of qualifying professional critical care nursing experience in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) \n
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification \n
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification \n
- Critical Care Registered Nurse - Adult Certificate \n
- Meet applicable U.S. Army commissioning, medical and moral eligibility requirements. \n
Preferred Qualifications
\n \n- \n
- Two or more years of qualifying professional critical care nursing experience in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) \n
- TNCC \n
- ABLS \n
- PALS \n
- ENPC \n
