Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a registered nurse specializing in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to provide critical care services in a medical intensive care unit setting. The position involves working day shifts with a commitment of 36 hours per week. The nurse will deliver patient-centered care, following established protocols and maintaining high standards of clinical practice within the healthcare facility.

Job Details:

• Shift: Days, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, every third weekend
• Schedule: 12-hour shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification, Illinois licensure, 1 year of clinical experience in ICU or similar acute care setting
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with critical care patient management, certification in Critical Care Nursing, additional specialized certifications in ICU nursing or related fields
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: The position involves working in a medical intensive care unit, with duties including patient assessment, administration of medications, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining accurate documentation. Candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and follow all facility and safety protocols.
