Position Medical Imaging Field Engineer I, based in Philadelphia, PA. Job Summary Perform pre-defined technical tasks to service, maintain, and repair Siemens Healthcare Medical Solution instrumentation at customer sites in the Philadelphia area. Provide on‑site technical support, training operators, and manage financial performance within the territory. Responsibilities Service imaging equipment in the Philadelphia, PA area as a Customer Service Engineer. Install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on all Siemens Healthcare Medical Solution instruments with minimal supervision. Deliver timely repairs and conduct operator training for optimal system performance. Manage financial performance: meet or exceed revenue, control expenses, and oversee inventory. Maintain company assets including vehicle, cell phone, computer, tools, and parts. Establish and maintain business relationships with customers and peers. Perform necessary administrative duties accurately. Qualifications Knowledge and experience servicing medical imaging equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision. Ability to establish and maintain business relationships with customers and peers. Experience testing, repairing, and maintaining capital medical equipment. Strong customer service and communication skills. Proficiency with tools and service test equipment. General understanding of electricity, power supplies, and grounding. Required Skills Minimum high school diploma; technical associates degree or equivalent preferred. Proficiency with tools and service test equipment; able to work individually and in a team. Proficiency in necessary network applications and tools (e.g., eVO, mButler, MS Office, Concur, NAM Customer Service website, Engineer Tools). 1+ years’ experience as medical technologist or field service engineer in biomedical instrumentation. Valid driver’s license with good driving record; must be able to drive independently day and night. Physical requirements: lift 50 lbs, walk, climb ladders or stepstools, bend, twist, squat, stand, reach high, fine manual manipulation, good vision. Physical Requirements Lifting 50 lbs (floor to above waist/head), walking, ladder/stepstool climbing, bending, twisting, sitting work, squatting work, standing work, high‑reach, fine grasping manipulation, good vision, and ability to work alone. Fleet Safety Policy Eligibility requires a valid driver’s license in the state of residence; no prior DUI/DWI convictions or pending charges (unless prohibited by local law). Must demonstrate excellent judgment in customer relations and company resource management. Compensation and Benefits Base Pay Range: $55,230 - $75,944 (geography, skills, education, experience may affect starting pay). Commission eligibility will be according to the Company’s plan.
