Position Summary

The Merchandiser is responsible for creating an inviting shopping experience through product presentation, visual displays, inventory organization, and seasonal merchandising. This role helps drive sales by maintaining attractive displays, ensuring products are well stocked, and supporting the overall brand image of the store.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain visually appealing merchandise displays throughout the store
• Rotate merchandise seasonally and refresh displays to keep the store looking new and engaging
• Ensure shelves, tables, and feature areas are fully stocked, organized, and properly priced
• Assist with product selection, placement, and inventory management
• Monitor sales trends and recommend merchandising adjustments to improve sell-through
• Receive, unpack, tag, and stock new merchandise deliveries
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stockroom
• Collaborate with store leadership on promotions, events, and seasonal floor sets
• Track low stock items and communicate reorder needs to management
• Support social media content creation by styling merchandise and displays for photos and videos
• Ensure all visual merchandising aligns with the store’s brand and customer experience standards

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of retail, merchandising, boutique, or gift shop experience preferred
• Strong eye for design, color coordination, and product presentation
• Creative, organized, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable lifting and moving merchandise displays as needed
• Flexible schedule

Preferred Skills

• Visual merchandising experience
• Knowledge of boutique retail trends and seasonal merchandising
• Social media styling/content experience
