Data Center Technician, ADC InfraOps DCO

Description AWS is looking for fully cleared Data Center Technicians to join our expanding Infrastructure Operations team. Data Center Technicians are the primary resolver and troubleshoot a range of datacenter infrastructure issues including hardware, fiber, networking, and related problems. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph. Key Job Responsibilities Plan and track capacity, rack deployment, rack cabling, and rack decommissioning. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues. Perform physical data center activities, including lifting and moving material up to 49 pounds, working in cramped or elevated locations, bending, stretching, and reaching, standing and walking up to 8+ hours a day, ascending and descending ladders, stairs, and gangways safely, working in a noisy environment, and working shifts longer than 8 hours to support 24/7 operations (including nights, weekends, and holidays). Take ownership of technical issues, engage other teams when needed to drive resolution, and act in the absence of direction or support. Show a strong aptitude for troubleshooting and problem solving, solving problems at their root and understanding the broader context. Maintain service level agreements through proactive issue detection and reporting. Improve effectiveness through process innovation. Qualifications Basic Qualifications High school or equivalent diploma. Current, active U.S. Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph. Preferred Qualifications Any of the following certifications: A+, CND (Certified Network Defender), Network+, or Security+. Benefits Starting pay is $33.00 – $58.00 USD hourly.
