About the Role

ShareSTAFF is hiring a Physician for a contract assignment at an Outpatient in Topeka, Kansas. ShareSTAFF Healthcare is seeking a leading regional health system in Topeka, KS, is seeking a full-time (1.0 FTE) locum OB/GYN physician to begin end of October 2026, with strong potential for extension. The assignment blends outpatient GYN/OB clinic coverage (2–3 days/week) with a 1:6 call rotation covering L&D, GYN surgery, ER consults, and high-risk transfers. EPIC EMR, dedicated clinic support staff, and a collaborative pod-based practice environment.

What You'll Do

• Key Responsibilities
• Outpatient GYN and OB clinic care, 2–3 days/week, ~25–30 patients/day
• 1:6 call rotation: ER consults, L&D, GYN surgery, triage, high-risk transfers
• General OB/GYN procedures: D&C, laparoscopy, C-section
• Post-call days in clinic or OR per schedule
• EPIC documentation
• Clinic-first call triage routed through Health Connections

What You Bring - Required

• Required Credentials / Licenses
• Active, unrestricted Kansas medical license (or eligible via IMLC before start)
• Board certified/eligible in OB/GYN (ABOG or AOBOG)
• Active Kansas DEA registration
• Eligible for full OB/GYN surgical privileges
• Current BLS/ACLS (ALSO per facility credentialing)
• Malpractice coverage meeting Kansas minimums: $1M/occurrence, $3M aggregate (K.S.A. 40-3401)
• Required Experience
• MD/DO, ACGME-accredited OB/GYN residency
• Minimum 2 years independent OB/GYN practice
• Demonstrated full-scope call experience: L&D, ER, high-risk transfers, GYN surgery
• EPIC EMR experience

• Prior locum tenens experience
• High-volume community hospital/health system background
• Comfort with high-risk OB consults/transfers
• Availability beyond initial assignment
• Kansas license already in hand
