The Company

TRM Innovative Hearth Products is the buyout of several companies that have been merged throughout the years including but not limited to Fireplace Manufacturers Inc., (FMI), and Lennox Industries Hearth Division. The aggregate company included rollups of Marco; Superior Fireplace, which began in the 1930s; stove and insert companies including Country Stoves, established in 1977. FMI, a subsidiary of Desa, rolled up Design Dynamics in vented and vent-free logs in the early 2003 timeframe. Subsequently, the management team from the FMI segment of Desa acquired the assets of their division in 2008. On January of 2023 TRM Equity groups completely purchased IHP and created TRM Innovative Hearth Products.

Job Description:

The Production Operator 1 will carry out various tasks in our busy warehouse. The ideal candidate will have some mechanical and construction experience, excellent communication skills and a high degree of mechanical aptitude. The successful applicant will be responsible for operating production line equipment, finishing products and reporting any issues with equipment directly to maintenance supervisors. The RV Production Operator 1 behavior that supports IHP values.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Feed raw materials into production machinery.
• Assemble goods on production lines.
• Monitor the production process.
• Carry out basic quality and testing checks.
• Store goods and raw materials properly in our warehouse.
• Use lifting equipment and forklift trucks to fulfill orders.
• Pack goods to be shipped.
• Maintain work areas and equipment.

Qualifications:

• Strong work ethic and organizational skills.
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted.
• Able to work on foot for extended periods of time.

Must Have:

• High school diploma/GED Preferred.
• 2+ years' experience working in a warehouse Preferred.
• Reliable mode of transportation.

Language Ability:

Position requires fluency in English. Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
