Senior UI Developer

Labcorp is recruiting a Senior UI Developer for a dynamic team. As a UI Software Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical skills to develop software solutions managing some of Labcorp's core business functions. You will work collaboratively with local and remote engineers, ensuring high quality and forward thinking engineering practices are applied.The ideal candidate will be a strong UI developer, with experience in the Angular framework. The candidate must be able to work closely with other engineers to build solution consensus as well as diagnose reported defects. The candidate will be afforded to work in a fast-paced environment and have a significant influence in design decisions. The candidate must be able to learn new technologies and techniques readily and provide leadership in adopting them. The candidate must be an excellent communicator capable of working with both peer engineers and users.Responsibilities:Diagnose, debug and remedy defectsDevelop new features and integrate into existing architectureParticipate in the full development cycle from system inception through releaseWork with the user community to understand system requirements and identify solutionsEnsure that safety and security are built into the system designUnderstand and comply with all development regulations and audit obligationsMaintain an understanding of current industry trends and leverage to drive positive changeRequirements:License/Certification/Education: Normally requires a B.S. in Computer Science or similar discipline OR demonstrated experience, with 5+ years’ experience in design and development of Single Page Applications.Required Skills:A passion for building high quality software at speed5+ years of experience in developing SPA solutions utilizing the Angular framework and full stack system level debuggingThorough understanding of application development and support technologies, and how they interact with underlying platforms and infrastructure. Experience across more than one "technology stack" for applications (e.g. Microsoft, Java, JavaScript, mainframe, Unix, etc.)Good knowledge of industry best practices and trends in the application integration and development spacesExcellent organization and communication skillsExperience consuming REST-based servicesExperience with web technologies including HTML5, CSS, Sass, JSON, TypeScript and JavaScriptThrives working in an agile environmentPreferred:Experience with Angular, TypeScript and Node.jsPractical experience in the application of the SOLID principlesExperience with Domain Driven DesignExperience with healthcare standards (HL7/FHIR, BRIDG, ...)Experience in pharmaceutical R&D, clinical development and/or healthcare ITApplication window will close: 3/6/2024Pay Range: $112,065 to $170,864.
