We foster programs in the areas of basic, translational, mechanistic and population research.Position SummaryThis position will serve as a Clinical Research Coordinator within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM), supporting the Fetal Care Center Research Group. Current research focuses on advancing maternal and fetal care through studies of Twin-to-Twin Transfusion Syndrome (TTTS), collaborations with the North American Fetal Therapy Network, research on gastroschisis, and two industry-sponsored clinical trials evaluating treatments for red cell alloimmunization.The Clinical Research Participant Coordinator is responsible for research participant management and data collection for a variety of complex clinical research protocols, including leading efforts in gathering, compiling, and reporting data. The Clinical Research Participant Coordinator facilitates the integration of research activities into the clinical care environment, conveying information to a variety of individuals and groups.Minimum Education and Experience RequirementsBachelor’s degree in a discipline related to the field assigned and one year of related training or experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.Management PreferencesExperience in clinical research coordination, preferably in women’s or children’s health. Experience with data management (ability to manipulate data collection databases, specifically REDCap). Knowledgeable in patient centered outcomes research methodologies.Previous experience in grant writing and securing research funding.Knowledge of ethical standards and regulations governing clinical research.
