We are looking for a reliable, welcoming Veterinary Receptionist to join our team!

Position Summary

As the primary point of contact for our clinic, the Veterinary Receptionist manages front desk operations, delivers exceptional customer service, and ensures seamless communication between pet owners and clinical staff within a tight-knit, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Relations & Reception:
• • Greet clients and pets warmly upon arrival and manage the check-in and check-out process.
  • Answer multi-line phone calls, respond to inquiries, and schedule appointments accurately.
  • Process client payments, manage invoices, and maintain precise billing records.
  • Update electronic medical records, client files, and patient histories.
• Administrative & Clinic Support:
• • Coordinate prescription refill requests and direct client communications to veterinary technicians or doctors.
  • Send appointment reminders and follow up on lab updates or general inquiries.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception and waiting room area.
  • Collaborate with team members in a supportive, family-like environment to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Prior experience as a medical or veterinary receptionist preferred, but candidates with strong customer service and administrative skills are encouraged to apply.
• Skills: Excellent communication, strong organization, attention to detail, and proficiency with computer systems and phone handling.
• Attributes: Compassionate demeanor, comfortable being around animals, team player attitude, and ability to multitask efficiently in a busy clinical setting.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay: $18.00 to $20.00+ per hour (commensurate with experience).
