Interventional Radiologist

Jackson and Coker is seeking an Interventional Radiologist for a locums opportunity in Michigan, starting July 2026. This role involves covering inpatient consults, outpatient clinic visits, and performing a variety of interventional procedures. The physician will also oversee Advanced Practice Providers during daytime hours, contributing to a balanced inpatient and outpatient practice.

Practice Info

• Procedural volume: 9-10 per day
• 60% Outpatient, 40% Inpatient
• 3 APPs perform procedures and do IP consults
• Locums physician will oversee APPs during daytime hours
• General invasive IR procedures like biopsies, kyphoplasty, port placements, para/thora, etc.

Responsibilities

• Cover inpatient consults
• Cover outpatient clinic visits
• Perform procedures including biopsies, outpatient schedule procedures and inpatient emergencies
• Oversee APPs during daytime hours
• Provide Trauma Coverage
• Provide Emergency Call Coverage

Shift & Schedule

• Dates of Coverage: 7/26-8/2, 8/17-8/23, 9/7-9/13, 9/21-9/27
• Monday - Friday 7am-5:30pm

Requirements

• Must have AHA ACLS, BLS
• Must be boarded in Radiology
• Must have an active MI license or IMLC with LOQ
• Must be able to produce case logs - 50 cases in the last 12 months
