Job Description
TITLE
Registered Nurse - Inpatient Acute Dialysis

SCHEDULE
40 hours/week with an every other weekend and rotating holidays schedule. The on-call schedule averages 3-4 days/month and includes one weekend per month.

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40

REQUIREMENTS
- Current WI License
- AHA Provider level BLS
- AHA Provider level ACLS

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies and procedures, and standards of care.
- Document according to standards of care.
- Develop, initiate, and execute a patient plan of care according to the individualized needs of the patient, as prescribed by the physician and/or facility policy including patient and family instruction.
- Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities.
- Utilize clinical expertise to support the patient's longitudinal plan of care and ensure patient safety and experience by using critical thinking and appropriate escalation.
