Join a hospital-based Respiratory Care team providing respiratory services to patients across all age groups. This role offers a strong opportunity to work with routine and complex respiratory cases while building your clinical experience in an acute-care environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and advanced respiratory therapy procedures for patients of all ages.
• Set up, operate, and monitor acute-care ventilators for short- and long-term mechanical ventilation.
• Assess patient response to respiratory treatments and make appropriate recommendations.
• Maintain accurate patient and department documentation.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, patients, and families.
• Work independently when needed while supporting overall respiratory department operations.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of RRT experience
• Associate Degree from an approved Respiratory Care program
• Current Florida Respiratory Therapist license
• Current RRT credential through NBRC
• Current BLS certification
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
