Phlebotomist

Position Overview Phlebotomist – Pleasant Grove, UT 84062. Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other testing services. Enter patient information accurately and promptly into the electronic system. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Execute other administrative and clerical duties as needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications Current or prior Labcorp experience. One or more years of experience working as a phlebotomist. Additional Job Standards In lieu of work experience, a phlebotomy certification or a completed training program from an accredited agency is required. Must be able to pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Evidence of a proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
