Customer Service Associate I

Responsibilities Assist customers with questions and recommendations. Manage sales transactions and operate assigned cash register. Maintain cash security and protect company assets. Keep store well stocked and recover merchandise. Receive merchandise; help unload trucks and replenish stock in accordance with productivity standards. Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment; maintain professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders. Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out trash, and keeping all areas neat and presentable. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred. Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents required. Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting. Excellent customer service, relationship management, strong organizational and communication skills, and strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills required.
