Clinical Nurse PACU

Role Overview Provides direct patient care in a high-acuity PACU environment, managing diverse cases including neuro, transplant, ortho, ENT, cardio, vascular, thoracic, trauma, and spine patients. Responsibilities Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care according to standards and collaborative goals. Educate patients and families on post-treatment care, medication management, and injury recovery. Promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance; participate in ongoing professional development. Develop and communicate individualized care plans, considering patient preferences and psychosocial needs. Utilize critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, ensuring holistic care. Work in a safety-sensitive environment requiring constant alertness. Qualifications & Skills RN license with a Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree; Bachelor's preferred. No prior experience required; less than two years of experience preferred. Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills required.
