Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in West Jordan, Utah. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 16 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Labor and Delivery (L&D) nurse position available in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized obstetric and postpartum care, monitoring fetal health, managing oxytocin and insulin drips, and supporting mothers through the childbirth continuum. Candidates with strong fetal monitoring skills, experience with postpartum and C-section circulation, and the ability to handle triage and medication titration are encouraged to apply. Job Details: Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, starting 09/14/2026 and ending 01/04/2027. Required Qualifications: Valid license to practice as a registered nurse, American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification. At least 1 year of recent specialty experience in Labor & Delivery within the last 3 years; transition skills preferred, and one year of travel experience highly preferred. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with triage, postpartum couplet care, and C-section circulating support. Additional Information: Candidates should be comfortable reading fetal strips, titrating oxytocin and insulin drips, managing postpartum and labor patients, and supporting during high-risk deliveries. Floating to MedSurg units may occur during low census, and some on-call and weekend work are required. Orientation is typically 1-2 shifts, with scrubs provided. The facility maintains Level 3 NICU support and offers 24/7 OB/neonatology coverage and in-house anesthesia when active laboring patients are present.
