TheSeniorplanner/buyer’s responsibilities includepurchasingthe raw, imported, domestic,production related supplies,andanyothersub-assembled materialsthat support the Mattoon, IL distribution center’s No Trax operations team. This position willthencoordinate the flow of work and materials between departments as well asidentifyareas of improvement to increase efficiencyas part of the production process. WhatYou’llDoat Justrite: Maintaining a masterschedulefor multiple manufacturing production linesto meet daily production goals for eachvalue stream Organizes, formulates, and prepares master schedules to conformwithcustomer specific requirements (CSR), delivery dates, and manufacturing capacities to meet demand, while taking overtimeexpenseinto consideration. Expedites and coordinates detailed scheduling and the systematic release of orders to the production department. Performs liaison with Corporate Customer Service, production, engineering, and others on matterspertaining toschedules, production, methods, materials, and designs to resolve day-to-day problems and improve systematic methods. Maintains surveillance over orders in process to keep informed of manufacturing status and, when needed,initiatesthe necessary steps tomaintainconformity with schedules Assistinginidentifyingcapacity and resourceconstraintsandadjustingschedule toachieve OTD goals Assistingwith updates to themasterschedule toaccount fornew orders & unplanned events,communicate changes to production supervisors Managing printing and placement of work orders to the production floor Print work instructions for each FG job Create job ordersin ERP systemas needed Work with production management and teams toidentifydaily progress and opportunities for improvement Assistwithinventoryaccuracy, cycle counts and corrections Purchasingofallraw materials, supplies, and all other goodsrequiredto support production andmaintaininventory levels, safety stock and inventory turns Produce daily open orderreports,OTDreporting, OEE, or any othermetricsas assigned Attend daily manufacturing meetingsand other support meetings asrequired Support yearly physical inventory Work with Master Planner toassistwith continuous improvement projects Update the Gemba boards daily before the team meets with the OTD information Various production and warehousereports /projectsassigned Adhere to all company policies and safety #J-18808-Ljbffr
