We are seeking a passionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at The Care Project, working onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center located in picturesque Washoe Valley, Nevada. As a full-time Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping patients reclaim their mobility and enhance their overall quality of life through comprehensive therapeutic practices.

Situated within a cutting-edge sports medicine facility, our practice covers 5,000 square feet of advanced treatment and rehabilitation space. Our team consists of highly experienced professionals, including two dedicated physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant, all united in their mission to foster recovery and wellness.

Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at our Rehabilitation Center, you will work a consistent schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic. Our facility is well-equipped with cutting-edge technology designed to enhance patient assessment and treatment outcomes, providing you with the ideal environment to deliver high-quality care. This full-time role ensures that you remain connected with your patients and collaborate closely with a team of committed healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and recognize individual patient needs and objectives, crafting tailored treatment plans that address their specific mobility challenges.
• Maintain a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring focused, personalized care that optimizes recovery.
• Implement effective, evidence-based therapeutic interventions aimed at enhancing patients' range of motion and overall mobility.
• Develop non-surgical treatment options that minimize reliance on medications, advocating for holistic approaches to health.
• Create comprehensive fitness and wellness programs that empower patients to take charge of their rehabilitation.
• Document all assessments and services provided accurately to maintain compliance and ensure continuity of care.
• Foster open communication with patients, encouraging their participation and motivation throughout the recovery process.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to ensure cohesive patient care and promote successful outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with orthopedic outpatient clients, often addressing conditions resulting from sports injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain. Our approach emphasizes individualized care plans based on comprehensive assessments, supported by evidence-based therapeutic methods. Each patient we serve is seen as a partner in their journey towards improved function and self-sufficiency.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Active license as a Physical Therapist in Nevada, with no record of board or disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the development of exercise regimens.
• Experience utilizing EMR software, particularly WebPT, to manage patient records and documentation.

Preferred Experience

• At least one year of prior experience as a Physical Therapist within orthopedic outpatient settings preferred.
• Familiarity with advanced therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits

The Care Project offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
