Position Summary The Physician Assistant provides clinical support to the division of plastic surgery at the local clinic. The PA assists in ambulatory settings and acute care, participates in clinic and acute inpatient rounding, and collaborates with attending physicians and fellows to perform routine medical examinations and procedures, evaluate interval histories, communicate treatment plans, obtain lab tests, and ensure comprehensive patient care. Key Results Areas (KRAs) Patient care and assessment Development of treatment plans and patient procedures Ordering and interpretation of tests Patient and parent education Prescription writing and chart documentation Patient satisfaction and regulatory compliance Clinic revenue processing and case review to attending physician Evaluation of care and adherence to patient care protocols Core Competencies Effective communication skills to elicit and provide information Team collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals Emotional resilience, adaptability, flexibility, and tolerance of ambiguity Compassionate and respectful behavior when interacting with patients and families Commitment to supporting UCH’s standard of medical excellence Education & Experience Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited PA program Experience in any surgical specialty is a plus Eligibility for licensing in the state of Tennessee Requirements Candidate must meet the educational and licensing criteria outlined above. #J-18808-Ljbffr
