This role is hands‑on, fast‑paced, and essential to ensuring fire safety in commercial kitchens. The training period typically lasts 6–12 weeks , depending on each individual’s experience level and performance. Experienced crews may complete training in as little as 2–4 weeks before returning to Tallahassee to begin full‑time work in their local market. Training pay is $18–$23 per hour and applies only during the short training period. Once training is completed, technicians transition to full pay, earning $1,350–$2,000+ per week based on performance and efficiency.
