Speech Language Pathologist - Travel Contract

Minimum Qualifications

• Master‘s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
• Active California SLP license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
• Experience working in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred.
• Proficiency in assessment and intervention for dysphagia and cognitive-communication disorders preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing individualized treatment plans and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams in post-acute care.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records used in SNF settings.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 0800-1630.
• Shift Days: Monday through Friday.
• Meal break: 30 minutes.
• Guaranteed weekly hours: 35.
• Contract type: Travel/contract assignment; may require flexibility to float to other nearby facilities if needed.
