Job Title

Medical Oncology / Telemetry Registered Nurse – Travel Contract

Location

San Antonio, TX

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Travel

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Oncology unit with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data for assigned patients throughout the shift
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team consisting of RNs and patient care technicians on a 15-bed unit
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Meditech EMR
• Adhere to unit guidelines, dress code (navy scrubs), and facility policies throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for practice in Texas
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
• Telemetry experience is required; candidates without this skill will not be considered
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficiency or ability to quickly adapt to Meditech EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with stroke patient care
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with strong adaptability in a travel assignment setting
