Our best-in-class patient support services enhance every step of care, connecting patients, providers, and brands to drive better outcomes and accelerate time-to-therapy.The Staff Pharmacist will play a critical role in the operations of a non-commercial (Free Goods) pharmacy, ensuring compliant, efficient, and patient-centered dispensing of manufacturer-sponsored medications. This role requires active pharmacist licensure across multiple states and deep expertise in regulatory compliance, patient services, and operational execution in a centralized pharmacy model.This pharmacist will collaborate cross-functionally with patient support programs, manufacturers, HUB services, and internal operations teams to ensure timely and accurate medication access for patients enrolled in free goods programs.Must be licensed in KentuckyPrimary Duties And Responsibilities:Dispensing & Clinical OversightAccurately review, verify, and dispense prescription medications in accordance with state and federal regulationsEnsure all prescriptions meet program eligibility and compliance requirements specific to free goods distributionProvide clinical oversight and drug utilization review (DUR) where applicableCounsel patients and/or caregivers as required, ensuring appropriate medication use and adherenceMulti-State Compliance & LicensingMaintain active pharmacist licenses in multiple states and ensure compliance with each state's Board of Pharmacy regulationsAdhere to all applicable laws including DEA, FDA, and state-specific requirementsSupport audit readiness and participate in internal/external auditsProgram & Operational ExecutionExecute workflows aligned to manufacturer-sponsored free goods programs, including enrollment validation and prescription processingCollaborate with HUB services, case managers, and patient support teams to resolve access or eligibility issuesSupport inventory management, including receipt, storage, and tracking of non-commercial productQuality & Process ImprovementIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, compliance, and patient experienceEnsure adherence to SOPs, documentation standards, and quality assurance protocolsParticipate in training and onboarding of pharmacy staff as neededCross-Functional CollaborationPartner with internal teams including operations, compliance, and program managementInterface with manufacturers and third-party vendors supporting patient access programsAct as a subject matter expert on non-commercial pharmacy workflows and regulationsExperience And Educational Requirements:PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institutionActive pharmacist license in good standing in multiple states (minimum of 3–5 states preferred, one of which is Kentucky; ability to expand licensure required)3+ years of pharmacist experience (specialty, mail order, or centralized pharmacy preferred)Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, regulatory requirements, and dispensing systemsPreferred Qualifications:Experience supporting manufacturer-sponsored patient assistance or free goods programsBackground in specialty pharmacy, HUB services, or centralized fulfillment modelsFamiliarity with REMS programs, prior authorization processes, and patient onboarding workflowsExperience working in a multi-state or national pharmacy operationPhysical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
