We are seeking a highly skilled Job Captain to support a growing portfolio of federal, institutional, public-sector, education, healthcare, industrial, and commercial projects. This role combines technical leadership, project coordination, and hands-on production work while partnering closely with architects, engineers, and consultants throughout the project lifecycle.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced architectural professional who enjoys being deeply involved in project execution, construction documentation, and multidisciplinary coordination while continuing to grow toward Project Architect responsibilities.

This role is ideal for someone looking to build upon strong Revit and construction documentation experience while expanding project ownership and technical leadership responsibilities. You'll have the opportunity to grow toward Project Architect-level responsibilities while continuing to stay involved in design and production.

Hourly Pay Range: $58.00 - $72.00 per hour

Compensation will be based on technical expertise, project experience, and overall qualifications.

• Coordinate architectural projects from design development through construction documents
• Assemble and coordinate multidisciplinary drawing packages across architectural and engineering disciplines
• Develop construction documents, detailing, plans, elevations, sections, schedules, and technical deliverables in Revit
• Collaborate directly with engineers, consultants, and project stakeholders to resolve technical issues
• Support project startup activities, workflows, standards, and documentation strategies
• Review and incorporate design revisions, markups, and redlines into project documents
• Participate in coordination meetings, site investigations, and project planning efforts
• Identify and resolve design conflicts through proactive multidisciplinary coordination
• Support construction administration efforts including clarifications and project documentation
• Maintain ownership of project deliverables and ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency throughout project execution

We're looking for a technically strong architectural professional who thrives in a collaborative design environment and enjoys taking ownership of complex project documentation and coordination efforts. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in Revit, experienced in construction document production, and comfortable working directly with architects, engineers, and consultants.

• Approximately 7-12 years of architectural experience
• Advanced proficiency with Revit
• Strong construction document (CD) phase experience
• Experience producing complete construction document sets
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary drawing packages
• Experience working within an architectural or A/E consulting environment
• Proven experience coordinating architects, engineers, and consultants
• Strong understanding of multidisciplinary building design and documentation
• Ability to identify conflicts and resolve technical coordination issues
• Experience supporting public-sector, institutional, education, healthcare, industrial, commercial, or federal projects
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to initiate and execute projects with limited supervision

• Progress toward architectural licensure
• Active NCARB record or licensure path underway
• Federal project experience
• Military or Department of Defense (DoD) project experience
• AutoCAD proficiency
• BIM 360 or Autodesk Construction Cloud experience
• Construction Administration experience
• Field investigation and site verification experience
• Specifications coordination experience
• Experience with healthcare, laboratory, higher education, or institutional facilities

The pay range for this position is $58.00 - $72.00/hr.
