Your future role at a glance Location: Panama City, FL Facility: Ascension Sacred Heart Bay Department: Nuclear Medicine Schedule: Day Shift | PRN with on-call requirement How you'll make an impact in this role Performs vital diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures. Operates advanced cameras and imaging equipment to map and detect radioactive drugs. Ensures accurate and compassionate patient positioning and selects appropriate imaging factors. Handles, prepares, and administers radiopharmaceuticals following strict safety protocols. Maintains the highest quality standards for all images and documentation, ensuring correct patient data and history. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. One or more of the following required: Certified Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Radiologic Technologist specializing in Nuclear Medicine credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
