(USA) Senior Meat Cutter

Position Summary As a Senior Meat Cutter you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations. Responsibilities Be a Team Member – Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and help educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, communicating effectively and developing interpersonal skills for customer service. Be flexible to business needs, track goods, maintain inventory levels, and control shrinkage. Be an Expert – Maintain an in‑depth knowledge of various meat products, seasonality, equipment usage, and backroom operations. Process meat according to specifications (cutting, slicing, grinding, wrapping) ensuring compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and inventory management. Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment. Be a Techie – Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement. Use handheld technology for real‑time business decisions related to production, training, and product quality. Be an Owner – Drive business results while committing to operational excellence. Plan for profitability, maintain a clean work area, ensure high‑volume meat products meet quality standards, eliminate waste, secure fragile merchandise, and assist members with purchasing decisions. Pack, label, and store merchandise properly. Be a Talent Ambassador – Advocate for the department and club, value members’ experience, model high‑quality service, and execute the basics at the highest level of quality. Train associates and assist them in performing job‑related duties. Act with Integrity – Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics. Implement action plans, using the Open Door Policy, to execute business processes and practices. Hold oneself and others accountable. Minimum Qualifications 6 months’ experience working in a fresh production department. Must be 18 years of age or older. Successful completion of all required trainings and assessments within the prescribed time period. Preferred Qualifications Experience in meat processing.
