About the job Hospice Registered Nurse
Hospice Registered Nurse (RN)
- Associate degree or higher in Nursing
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Pennsylvania
- Minimum of 2 years of Hospice nursing experience
- At least 1 year of experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Experience with TruChart EHR or other EMR systems is acceptable
- Valid Drivers License , reliable transportation, and current auto insurance
- Ability and willingness to travel locally
- Comfort using tablets, mobile devices, and clinical software
- RN license number provided at time of application
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to manage and deliver individualized patient care plans
- Provide hospice nursing care to patients throughout Pittsburgh and surrounding areas
- Ensure timely, accurate charting and documentation in compliance with care standards
- Effectively manage time, scheduling, and patient visits independently
- Utilize EMR systems and mobile technology to support efficient care delivery
- Full-time | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Shared on-call coverage for holidays (approximately two holidays per year )
- Local travel required
