Exciting Opportunity for an OR Surgical Tech!

Job Description:


- Position: OR Surgical Tech
- Location: 100 Mercy Way, Joplin, MO 64804
- Facility: OR Complex
- Shift: 3x12 Days
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Weekend Hours: As required by facility
- Call Requirements: As required by facility, typically one call per pay period and one weekend per month

Position Information:

- Required Certifications: BLS from AHA only

Additional Information:


- The Surgical Tech I works under the supervision of the physician/RN and reports to the Director/Manager.
- Responsible for coordinating all supplies and instrumentation needed for surgical procedures according to established policies and procedures.
- Assist with the disposition and/or decontamination of instruments/supplies in the OR area.
- Collaborate with the RN in patient care planning, interventions, and outcomes.
