Emergency Department 3 night shifts per week: 3:00 pm – 3:00 am Patient population: All ages, acuities, and stages of life. Direct patient care and documentation of patients presenting to ED with a variety of complaints, triage, main sections with higher acuity, express care/fast track with lower acuity/clinic-type patients. Staff rotate to various areas based on experience and training. Patient ratios: 4:1 Number of beds: 55 Department specifics: Currently seeking Level III Trauma designation, Primary Stroke Center, Primary Chest Pain Center, EMS partnership, radiology with CT and ultrasound within ED, self‑scheduling with voluntary on‑call, certified emergency nurse fees paid, evidence‑based practice and process improvement projects ongoing, trauma training, express care/fast track for lower acuity/clinic patients, staff rotate based on experience and training. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in the emergency department, perform triage, document patient encounters, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, manage patient flow, and participate in ongoing quality improvement projects.
