Hours: 40 hours/week Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Wound Care Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment at a leading acute care facility in New York. The RN will specialize in wound, ostomy, and continence care, providing comprehensive patient assessments and developing individualized treatment plans. Requirements:

Hours: 40 hours/week Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Wound Care Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment at a leading acute care facility in New York. The RN will specialize in wound, ostomy, and continence care, providing comprehensive patient assessments and developing individualized treatment plans. Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience
- Experience in wound care, ostomy, and continence management
- Active New York RN License (required at submission)
- BLS certification (AHA) required
- One of the following certifications required:
- CWOCN / CWON / CWCN (WOCNCB)
- CWS (ABWM)
- WCC (NAWCO)
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited program
- Conduct focused wound, ostomy, and continence assessments
- Develop and implement patient-specific care plans
- Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment
- Provide education and counseling to patients and families
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal care outcomes
- Lead and support staff education and training programs
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
- Assist in selection of wound care supplies and equipment
- Acute care hospital setting
- Focus on pressure injury prevention and complex wound management
- Strong emphasis on patient education and quality care delivery
- Must maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
