An interim Pharmacy Manager opportunity is available at a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) and Rehabilitation hospital in Reno, NV. This role is ideal for an experienced professional skilled in pharmacy management within hospital or rehabilitation settings, focused on ensuring efficient pharmacy operations and compliance with healthcare standards.

Responsibilities include overseeing daily pharmacy activities, managing staff and resources, ensuring accurate medication dispensing, and collaborating with clinical teams to optimize patient care. The Pharmacy Manager will also ensure regulatory compliance, maintain inventory control, and support quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise pharmacy department operations in an LTAC/Rehab hospital setting
• Lead and mentor pharmacy staff to deliver high-quality patient care
• Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards
• Oversee medication distribution, inventory management, and procurement processes
• Collaborate with medical and nursing teams to ensure optimal medication therapy management
• Implement policies and procedures to improve pharmacy services and patient safety

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Pharmacy Manager, preferably in a hospital, LTAC, or rehabilitation environment
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations, medication management, and clinical practices
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic healthcare setting
• Relevant licensure and certification as required by the state of Nevada
