Registered Nurse (RN) - ED - Emergency Department - $32-48 per hour

Emergency Department RN Location: Belleville, IL – Memorial Belleville emergency department. Full‑time nights. Ongoing staff position. Overview Memorial Belleville is an acute care Magnet®‑recognized hospital that provides comprehensive emergency, medical, surgical, and critical care services. Responsibilities Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing care standards. Promotes patient and family‑centered care in a healing environment. Educates patients and families on illness or injury management, post‑treatment home care needs, and medication administration. Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Engages in professional development. Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans with defined goals in collaboration with interdisciplinary team members and patients or caregivers. Proactively plans and ensures communication of the care plan across the continuum of care. Uses critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs according to standards of care. Assesses patient preferences and barriers to involvement in care, including values, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and population‑specific needs. Minimum Requirements Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing (no specific experience required). Valid RN license. No prior supervisor experience required. Preferred Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. Experience as an Emergency Department RN. Basic BSN differential knowledge. Benefits Competitive pay with shift differential and BSC differential.
