\nOVERVIEW
\nJoin a private group for a Laborist Role. NO CALL & No office or clinic duties.
\nROLE
\n- \n
- Choose 1 of 2 Hospitals -24 Hour Shifts majority, with some 12 hour
\n • 2-3 Providers each daily clinic
\n • Level 3 NICU with MFM on site
\n • <90 monthly deliveries on average \n
DUTIES
\nDeliver obstetrical and gynecological care to patients including but not limited to providing contraceptive services (at hospitals that provide contraceptive services)
\nDeliver direct patient care to high-risk patients including situations where Maternal Fetal Medicine support may only be available by telephone or video consultation
\nParticipate daily in Labor and Delivery board rounds
\nServe as the ‘Safety Officer’ on Labor and Delivery to ensure that all patients, regardless of their primary admitting clinician, have the safest possible outcomes
\nSupport community physicians and midwives through clinical assistance as requested including practice coverage as requested and as safely available
\nShifts:
\nMajority 24 hour or some 12 hour shifts
\nFull-time = 5–9 (24-hr) shifts per 28-day block
\nPromotable to Site Director
