Join our outstanding team and help shape the future of energy.Position Specific DescriptionBased out of the James Robo Building (JRA) in Palm Beach Gardens, FL; this leadership position will be responsible for onboarding and delivering technical and safety training to FPL Field Engineers supporting Solar and Energy Storage sites in the state of Florida. Primary responsibilities include:Lead onboarding and delivering technical and safety trainingSchedule courses and onboarding logisticsLead FPL Solar/Energy Storage training projects and initiativesInteract and engage with leaders from FPL Solar and Energy StorageReport on Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for FPL Solar and Energy Storage TrainingLeader will spend 70% instructional time on-site - FPL Solar & Energy Storage locationsPreferred qualifications (highly recommended):Previous renewable training experience including coaching/mentoring teammates onsite and/or advanced Solar & Energy Storage Engineer or Technician experience Strong understanding of Power Generation Division (PGD) processes as well as PGD Renewable training programs.Innovative and willing to and adapt new techniques and methods to support a growing fleet.Individual will be required to travel within the state of Florida.Possess an expert level of knowledge and skills for all facets of operation and troubleshooting abilities of PGD Renewable technologies.Job OverviewEmployees in this role lead a team of technical specialists or engineers.
