Direct Support Professional

Angels of Hope Home Care Agency LLC is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team in Indianapolis, IN. Responsibilities:

Provide hands-on personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support

Assist clients with daily living activities (ADLs) to promote independence and dignity

Implement individualized support plans (ISPs) and document progress accurately

Administer medications and monitor health conditions as directed

Transport clients to appointments, community activities, and social outings

Support behavioral health needs using positive behavior support strategies

Communicate effectively with supervisors, family members, and healthcare professionals

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED equivalent required

Prior experience as a DSP, caregiver, CNA, or in a related human services role preferred

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Strong interpersonal skills with a patient, empathetic, and person-centered approach

CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)

Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
