Requirement/Must Have:
- Ability to provide quality, error free work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
- Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric.
- Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Medical training such as medical assistant or paramedic training is preferred.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred.
- Minimum of 6 months experience is required.
- Customer service experience in a retail or service environment is preferred.
- Keyboard and data entry experience is required.
- Represent the organization to patients as part of their health routine or for insights into health decisions.
- Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.
- Maintain direct contact with patients and create an atmosphere of trust and confidence.
- Explain procedures to patients and draw blood specimens in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner.
- Demonstrate leadership behaviors while focusing on process excellence and sensitivity to confidentiality.
- Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.
- Maintain a safe and professional environment.
- Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices.
- Maintain required records and documentation.
- Promote a positive image to patients, employees, and the public.
- One+ years phlebotomy experience preferred.
- Phlebotomy.
