Healthcare Business Analyst at Durham, NC Title: Sr. Healthcare Business Analyst Duration: 12 - 18 Months Term: Contract to Hire Interview Process: Phone then Skype / On‑Site Remote Option: No Required Excellent communication skills Locals are highly preferred 6+ years (Expert level) business analysis/business systems analysis experience (demonstrated analysis, requirements elicitation, data collection, and reporting skills, cross‑functional) Healthcare or health insurance experience Superior communication – navigate complex political environments and deal with a variety of high‑level stakeholders Top Three Skills 6+ years (Expert level) business analysis/business systems analysis experience (demonstrated analysis, requirements elicitation, data collection, and reporting skills, cross‑functional) Healthcare or health insurance experience Superior communication – navigate complex political environments and deal with a variety of high‑level stakeholders Responsibilities Support organization to improve their technology around claims Gather requirements for small group remediation for the claims adjudication system Strong documentation skills required Discern business needs; develop requirements and business functional designs to solve complex enterprise‑wide problems through enabling technology or business process Facilitate work sessions, document requirements, develop specifications, and define/ manage scope as input to technical/process design – finding synergies across concurrent projects Assist business area in performing enterprise analysis as input to business case and opportunity selection process Ensure quality, cost effectiveness, and timeliness of key business services and regulatory requirements – approached as a holistic, integrated enterprise solution Work directly with technology partners to translate enterprise business functional design into technical solutions, serving as liaison between business partners and technology partners, including leadership roles Facilitate and influence construction of specific complex solutions through scoping documents, risk assessments, and corresponding financial requirements to balance ROI Facilitate elicitation of business requirements to ensure documentation and review of applicable business processes Conduct business analysis to validate designs and prioritize requirements through observation techniques and process analysis tools Create and document the design of business solutions to meet needs and ensure end‑to‑end traceability through appropriate artifacts Maintain and utilize detailed analysis and process design knowledge in construction of solutions, requiring working level knowledge of processes, technologies, and people components Serve as trusted expert advisor or Subject Matter Expert for analysis and process design services (informal advice, training, formal presentations) Provide consultancy and advice to business partners on applicability and usability of alternative technology‑enabled and/or process‑enabled solutions to address business problems/issues Review documents and models produced by Business Analysts and peers to ensure quality of the product Support program and portfolio management goals through assessment of business solutions for decomposition of projects into multiple production releases to meet business owner needs Participate in development and support of a defined scope and implementation strategy, including definition of success criteria, project objectives, and implementation plans Advocate for and follow appropriate enterprise‑wide standards for analysis, process documentation, and reviews Maintain knowledge of industry‑aligned practices for requirements definition and management; coach and mentor as required Interpret and translate impacts, risks, gaps across technical and non‑technical audiences, using audience appropriate artifacts, to ensure a holistic understanding of business and user requirements Communicate effectively with individuals and groups of all levels, from contributors to executive leadership; through written and verbal presentations, facilitation, resolution of outstanding issues, and appropriate recommendations Lead analysis to define, analyze, and develop enterprise solutions to resolve business impacts Contact This is Sreekanth G from Reliable Software Resources Inc and I am writing to see whether you are interested in an exciting/challenging opportunity at Durham, NC Onsite.
