RN – Med SurgLocation: Morgantown, WV | Acute CareSchedule / Job Type: Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift | 3×12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Weekdays and WeekendsKey Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5–7. Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Cerner EMR. Administer medications, monitor patient conditions, and respond to changes in patient status throughout the night shift. Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans. Maintain compliance with unit attendance expectations; note that no more than 2–3 call-offs are permitted per contract.Required Qualifications: Active West Virginia RN license or valid Compact RN license; pending license accepted at time of submission. Minimum 2 years of RN experience required. BLS and ACLS certifications required through the American Heart Association (AHA). NIH Stroke Scale certification required. Proficiency with Cerner EMR. Must have a permanent address more than 100 miles from the facility; candidates residing between 75–100 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis.Preferred Experience / Skills: Prior travel nursing experience is a plus, though not required. Experience working in a high-acuity Medical Surgical environment. Familiarity with Cerner documentation modules.Benefits: Day 1 health benefits (medical/dental/vision). Weekly pay.
