Warehouse Order Selector/ShippingLocation: Bellevue, WA 98005 Duration: 2+ months with possible extensions IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE: Shift: 1st Shift, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch) Schedules Available: Schedule 1: Monday - Friday Schedule 2: Tuesday - SaturdayJob SummaryRole Responsibilities This role requires selecting and palletizing dairy and refrigerated products using voice-directed technology and a ride-on electric pallet jack in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Candidates should be comfortable performing physical work throughout the shift while working in refrigerated conditions.Key ResponsibilitiesUse a voice-directed order selection system to accurately select full-case dairy, refrigerated, and other perishable products.Operate a ride-on electric pallet jack to pick and transport products throughout the warehouse.Wear a voice-picking headset for the duration of the shift.Build stable pallets and prepare orders for shipment to local stores.Ensure orders are selected accurately and efficiently while maintaining productivity standards.Follow all company safety, food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Work effectively with supervisors, team members, and drivers to support daily operations.Required Qualifications Basic QualificationsMinimum of 1 year of recent order selecting experience required.Previous experience operating an electric pallet jack required.Must be able to obtain Client certification to operate electric pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment.Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in English to perform the essential functions of the role, including:Following safety procedures and training instructionsUnderstanding verbal and written work instructionsUsing voice-directed picking technologyCommunicating effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and truck driversDemonstrated reliability, punctuality, and consistent attendance.Ability to work independently while maintaining high levels of productivity and accuracy.Physical RequirementsCandidates must be fully capable of performing the physical demands of this position.Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, stack, and move products weighing up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.Ability to frequently lift products to shoulder height and overhead.Ability to stand and walk continuously for extended periods.Ability to bend, stoop, squat, reach, twist, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.Ability to safely mount, dismount, and operate material-handling equipment.Ability to perform physical labor in a refrigerated environment for the entire shift.ImportantWorkers will be responsible for individually lifting and moving products as part of their daily job duties.Please ensure candidates fully understand these physical requirements prior to submission.Equipment & TechnologyAbility to wear a voice-picking headset throughout the entire shift.Ability to learn and use voice-directed warehouse technology.Ability to safely operate electric pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment after training and certification.Work EnvironmentMust be comfortable working in a refrigerated environment maintained at approximately 34°F - 37°F for the duration of the shift.Comfortable working around moving warehouse equipment and machinery.Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment while maintaining productivity and quality standards.Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.Must comply with all safety requirements and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).Ability to demonstrate teamwork and professionalism in a unionized work environment.Performance ExpectationsAccurately select and palletize products according to customer orders.Meet established productivity, quality, and accuracy standards.Follow all food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality.Work safely and efficiently in accordance with company policies and procedures.
