Dining Room Supervisor

HOURS: FULL TIME: 40-45 hours average per week. 5-6 days per week. Hours ofwork will be any variety of shifts between the hours of 5:30 a.m. and 12:00 a.m. Weekdays, weekends and holidays are required. JOB DESCRIPTION: Assists with coordinating the daily operations andgoals of the Dining Room, Banquets and Brunch.Has direct supervision, and assists with training and scheduling of theWait and Hosting Staff. Coaches teammembers on effective cross selling and upselling to increase guest checkaverages and Perk’s memberships. Monitorsschedules and activities of all employees to assure that they are productiveand cost efficient. Coordinates thecleaning of the various food service areas.Enforces controls, policies and procedures of the department andcorporation. Assists management indeveloping reports for analysis and for short-term or long-range goals with theFood & Beverage Dept. Assists withthe inventories and purchases necessary supplies and products to operateeffectively and to offer quality products and services. Monitors food ticket times and quality toensure optimum quality for dining guests. Maintains good customer relationswith our guests. Assists with completionand administering training reviews and evaluations. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Undergraduate degree in related courses of study or equivalent inexperience. Minimum of two years’experience in similar guest relations positionin like establishment. Communicative skills and trainingcapabilities. Knowledge of areaattractions and history.
