Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (0530–1600) | No Call or Weekend Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Provide pre-operative nursing care to patients preparing for surgical procedures
• Conduct pre-op assessments, including patient history review and vital sign monitoring
• Prepare and educate patients and families regarding upcoming procedures and post-operative expectations
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure patient readiness and safety
• Document patient information accurately in accordance with facility protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 3–5 years of Pre-Op nursing experience
• Strong knowledge of pre-operative nursing standards and patient care protocols
• Ability to work day shift hours (0530–1600)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in PACU or perioperative nursing settings
• BLS and/or ACLS certification
