Machine Operator 1 - Packing - Nights

What you get to do in Packing - Nights: Pack aluminum extrusions using a box knife, cardboard and tape. Ensure quality in the process including correct documentation, verification of the part, quantities, quality, finish, and the correct length of the metal. Operate an overhead crane. Communicate well with peers and management. Read written instructions and follow verbal instructions. Multitask, prioritize and work under time constraints. What we are looking for: Must be a team player and willing to be trained to work in other areas as assigned. Must be able to work full shift, with periods of required overtime. Regular and predictable attendance, ability to safely perform tasks, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of this job. Stand and walk for entire shift on concrete. Lift, push, pull or move up to 75 lbs individually and 150 lbs with a partner. Work in temperatures consistent with outdoor climate conditions of the region (heat, humidity, etc.).
