This travel assignment focuses on providing emergency care to patients of all ages, handling situations ranging from minor injuries to severe trauma. Key Responsibilities of the RN - Emergency Department

• Assess patients' clinical conditions and take immediate action as necessary.
• Initiate emergency measures when a physician is unavailable.
• Operate and monitor emergency care equipment.
• Administer therapeutic measures as prescribed.
• Record observations and coordinate activities with nursing and other disciplines.
• Document healthcare requirements and manage staff assignments accordingly.
• Plan and develop care delivery and documentation strategies.
• Maintain adequate supplies and ensure a safe environment.

Requirements of the RN - Emergency Department

• Minimum of 3 years experience in emergency care.
• Oklahoma or Compact RN License.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Meet pre-employment credentialing clearances (Background Check, Drug Screen, etc.).
• Ability to meet physical demands and lift up to 50 lbs.
