Job Description

The Warehouse Manager oversees all aspects of warehouse operations, including inventory management, logistics, shipping and receiving, and supervision of warehouse personnel. This role requires a hands-on leader who ensures accurate inventory control, maintains efficient warehouse processes, and upholds all relevant safety regulations and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping activities.
• Develop and implement inventory control procedures to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize discrepancies.
• Monitor and manage warehouse inventory, including regular cycle counts and reconciliation of inventory records.
• Coordinate logistics activities to ensure timely and efficient movement of goods in and out of the warehouse.
• Supervise warehouse staff, providing clear direction, coaching, and performance feedback to maintain high productivity and quality standards.
• Ensure all shipping and receiving processes follow established procedures and documentation requirements.
• Maintain compliance with all safety regulations and promote a safe working environment for all warehouse personnel.
• Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to improve efficiency, space utilization, and material handling.
• Collaborate with other departments to support operational needs and resolve issues related to inventory, logistics, and order fulfillment.
• Monitor warehouse performance metrics and implement improvements to enhance accuracy, speed, and service levels.

• Proven experience in warehouse management with responsibility for overall warehouse operations.
• Strong supervisory and management skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop warehouse staff.
• Hands-on experience in logistics, including coordinating inbound and outbound shipments.
• In-depth knowledge of shipping and receiving processes and documentation requirements.
• Demonstrated expertise in warehouse inventory and inventory control practices.
• Ability to develop and implement effective inventory control procedures.
• Comprehensive understanding of warehouse operations, including material handling and storage practices.
• Solid knowledge of safety regulations and the ability to ensure compliance within a warehouse environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate records and efficient workflows.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and provide clear direction to staff.

• Experience improving warehouse processes and implementing best practices.
• Ability to analyze operational data and identify opportunities for efficiency and accuracy improvements.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Capability to adapt warehouse procedures to align with industry standards and company policies.

Work Environment

This role is based in a non-climate-controlled warehouse with open doors, where temperatures and conditions may vary with the weather. You will work in a hands-on environment around active shipping, receiving, and material-handling activities, requiring regular movement throughout the facility and attention to safety procedures at all times.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Granbury, TX.

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
