Job Title: RN Oncology Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Oncology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 hour DAY/NIGHT shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Step down experience highly preferred License: RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, UHS ONC Must-Have: - Excellent communication skills - Expert in chemotherapy administration and monitoring of side effects - High level of respiratory care experience, including trachs, chest tubes, airvo, CPAP/BIPAP - Ability to identify rapidly changing patient conditions - Ability to multitask in critical situations - Experience with end of life care and hospice Description: This position requires expertise in managing a complex medical oncology population. Candidates must possess excellent communication skills. Step down experience is highly preferred. ACLS certification is required. Candidates should be adept in the interpretation of cardiac arrhythmias. Experience in chemotherapy administration and monitoring side effects is essential. A high level of respiratory care is required, including but not limited to trachs, chest tubes, airvo, and CPAP/BIPAP. Applicants must demonstrate the ability to identify rapidly changing patient conditions. Multitasking in critical situations is necessary for this role. Experience with end of life care and hospice is also required.
