Apply today and start building a long-term career in production!Schedule: Production Operators work three or four 12 hour shifts each week, rotating from days (7am-7pm) to nights (7pm-7am) every 8 weeks.Pay: $23.60/hour (base pay + $1.00/hour shift differential)As a Production Operator, you will:Demonstrate Drylock Core Values: Safety, Respect, OwnershipPerform typical machine operations to produce product: to specification, using defined good run settings, meeting output, yield and OEE goalsPrep, load and set parameters for raw materialsMust be able to operate the following manufacturing processes: cutting (dies, knives), gluing, conveyor, vision, and packaging (case erectors, box sealers)Splice materialRead, monitor, interact with and respond to machines using PLC/HMIsRemove, install, and validate parts when doing equipment set up and changeoversUse hand toolsRead and use a metric and standard tape measureFollow all proceduresMaintain a clean and safe work areaPerform quality checksMaintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly conditionPerform basic preventive maintenance on machinesDetect deviations from normal machine behaviorTroubleshoot to root cause when solving machine operations problemsDetect and report product defects and questionable conditionsProduction Operator Qualifications:High school diploma or GED requiredMinimum 1-year manufacturing related experienceMinimum 2-years consecutive employment with 1 employerAbility to frequently lift 40 lbs (and up to 75 lbs occasionally)Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills essentialPrevious machine operation preferred (onsite training available)Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Must have a good command of the English language, both written and spokenMust be able to read and interpret work documentsMust have the ability to work in teamsMust have the ability to perform basic mathMust have the ability to adapt to frequent changesMust be able to read and interpret production related documentsMust be able to learn ERP systemPersonal Protective Equipment Requirements:Hearing protection must be worn at all times.Safety goggles must be worn when working with the air compressor.Cut resistant gloves must be worn when working with knives.Work Environment:Work is performed in an industrial environment.Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.Benefits at Drylock Technologies Ltd. - Partnered with OakLeaf Direct!Health, dental, and vision insuranceOn-site health and wellness centerPaid holiday and vacation days401(k) retirement savingsLife and disability insuranceBuilt-in overtime & paid breaks for hourly employeesProduct discountsEmployee prize giveawaysContests… and more!
