Sales Representative | The Ant Vault
About Us
The Ant Vault is an ecommerce store specializing in live ants and ant keeping supplies. We serve hobbyists, collectors, educators, and anyone curious enough to start their first colony. It's a niche we love, and we're growing.
The Role
We're looking for a sales rep who can help us reach more customers and turn interest into orders. You'll be the voice of The Ant Vault, connecting with potential buyers across channels and helping existing customers find exactly what they need.
What You'll Do
- Reach out to potential customers through social media, forums, and online hobby communities
- Follow up with leads and inquiries in a timely, friendly way
- Identify opportunities to sell to schools, science programs, and educators
- Work with repeat customers to introduce new products and colony setups
- Represent the brand in a way that builds trust with a passionate community
What We're Looking For
- Comfortable selling online and over the phone
- Self motivated and organized without needing hand holding
- Interest in ant keeping or exotic hobbies is a big plus but not required
- Prior sales or customer facing experience preferred
- Reliable, consistent, and good with follow up
Compensation
Base pay plus commission. Details discussed in interview.
